As the dust settles on another night of frustration for England, a lot of attention has been focused on Roy Hodgson's decision to make six changes from the side that beat Wales 2-1. It was a gamble that didn't pay off as the Three Lions toiled to a disappointing 0-0 draw, against Slovakia, in St. Etienne.
While Nathaniel Clyne enjoyed a productive night at right-back, constantly providing a threat when he bombed forward, Jack Wilshere, who stepped into midfield ahead of the likes of Dele Alli and captain Wayne Rooney, endured a night to forget, and has the stats to prove it.

They don't make good reading for the Arsenal midfielder, who will have been hoping to silence the doubters who were outraged at his selection over Premier League winner, Danny Drinkwater, in Roy Hodgson's Euro 2016 squad. However, if last night's performance is anything to go by, we can't imagine Wilshere will be making Hodgson's starting XI again during this tournament.
