Cesc Fabregas is still the assist king in Europe despite his lack of game time with Chelsea this season.

The Spanish midfielder has had to settle for a place on the bench for the majority of this campaign, as Antonio Conte prefers to go with Nemanja Matic and N'Golo Kante as his two central midfield players.

Fabregas has only made eight starts in all competitions, appearing eight times off the bench and sometimes not even getting on the pitch at all.

According to the stats website, Fabregas has averaged an assist more often this term than any other player in Europe's top 5 leagues with more than two.

Fabregas will still find it difficult to get in the team, but could be close to proving to Conte that he should be a regular fixture in the Chelsea midfield.
