Harry Kewell has named two players of Roy Hodgson's England squad as genuine talents.

England play their final friendly international against Australia on Friday night before Hodgson has to submit his 23-man squad for the European Championships. Kewell has identified Tottenham pair Harry Kane and Dele Alli as the threats for England. The Aussie says he likes the youthful England side, in particular Kane and Alli.

Speaking about the midfielder, who's been capped seven times scoring once;

"I like Dele Alli - I know he's been picked up for a bit of aggressive play, but I like that in a player. "From where he's come to what he's done is phenomenal. "I think he's an exceptional player."

Alli's club teammate is also a player which Kewell likes the look of comparing him to past Premier League greats;

"Give him half a yard and he'll score - that's a striker for you. I've played with world-class strikers like Robbie Fowler, Michael Owen and Fernando Torres. They are players who only needed half a yard to score - that's Harry Kane."

Kewell gave his thoughts on England's side on the eve of the international friendly. The last time England faced Australia, the winger guided them to victory scoring en route to a 3-1 victory. The Socceroos' only win versus England, the current set-up will look to add to that lone victory when the two sides meet on Friday at The Stadium of Light.
