Harry Kane has revealed that Bayern Munich have suffered two major injury blows ahead of their Champions League tie against Arsenal.

Last week, Arsenal welcomed the Bavarian side to the Emirates Stadium for the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final.

The first match was an entertaining encounter as the game finished 2-2, leaving the tie on a knife edge.

Ahead of the second leg, Kane has revealed that Bayern will be without Serg Gnabry and Kingsley Coman.

He said during the press conference, as reported by iMiaSanMia: “It's disappointing for King and Serge. They've struggled with injuries this season, it's not easy to watch teammates when they can't be there.

“But it doesn't matter who we line up with tomorrow. Whoever has played has always had an impact. We had a few injury worries, but we did great. It doesn't matter who starts. We're focused and will give everything. We're also fighting for the injured players and hope they come back quickly.”

Arsenal will be looking to bounce back after their disappointing 2-0 defeat by Aston Villa dented their Premier League title hopes.

Speaking after the match, Gunners midfielder Declan Rice demanded a reaction against Bayern.

He said: “Now that reaction starts in the Champions League against Bayern, so we’ll be ready for that. We have to park this to the side now. It’s gone, it’s a game of football. We’ve lost but we need to bounce back, that’s for sure.

“It’s a great chance for us to get into a Champions League semi-final. Going to the Allianz Arena, it’s going to be a special night. It’s time to pull our socks up and show everyone why we’re in this position.”

Rice added: “It’s not over yet, there’s six games to go. We’re in an unbelievable position, two points behind. We’re still ready, we’re still fully focused on what we want to do and what we can achieve. There’s going to be many more twists and turns in the Premier League, I think you can see that with the other results today. Anything can happen and we’ll stay positive.”
