Imagine the scene. Fernando Torres signs for Fuenlabrada and on his home debut at the 'Estadio Fernando Torres', the 33-year-old scores a hat-trick in his home city.
Could the improbable actually happen, though?
If you haven't heard already Spanish Third Division side Fuenlabrada, who named their 5,000-capacity stadium after Torres, have made an offer to the Atletico Madrid striker via Twitter of all places.
Earlier this week, Diego Simeone said "no" to whether he would be willing to have the former Liverpool striker stay on for another year. It didn't take long for Fuenlabrada to send the following message:

"After seeing these declarations, we have something to say, which is that we love you Torres," they tweeted, along with the hashtag of #TorresVenteAlTorres - which translates to #TorresComeToTheTorres in English."
According to Spanish outlet Cadena SER, Torres 'made the decision' to leave the Wanda Metropolitano in January with offers from China and MLS reportedly on the table. But those rumours never materialised.
It does, however, look like he will leave at the end of the season. The Spanish striker could have left in the summer but decided to stay put due to the amount of games he had at the end of last season and the club's inability to bring in a replacement.
Where will Fernando Torres end up next?
