Harry Kane was subbed off in the 74th minute after another underwhelming performance for England at the Euros.
The England skipper was largely anonymous in the 1-0 win over Croatia on Sunday and couldn't put that behind him on Friday night at Wembley.
For the second game running, Kane did not manage a shot on target after struggling to get involved in the 0-0 draw with Scotland.
The Spurs talisman had just ten touches in the first half and to make matters worse, he was hauled off for Marcus Rashford in the second as England searched for a winner.
Kane cut a frustrated figure as he passed on his captain's armband and walked off the turf. His poor performance garnered reaction aplenty on social media:
Kane has come off the back of a stunning individual season where he hit a league-high 23 goals and 14 assists for Spurs.
But worryingly for England, the 2018 World Cup Golden Boot winner has looked utterly out of sorts in his two Euro 2020 outings thus far.
England's best chance in the 0-0 draw fell to John Stones, who headed against the post after producing a superhuman leap from a Mason Mount corner.
