Antonio Rudiger completely sh*thoused the biggest sh*thouse team in Europe and Chelsea fans absolutely loved it.

Rudiger has been an integral part of Chelsea's defence since the appointment of Thomas Tuchel, who has revived his career at Stamford Bridge.

And the German defender continued his fine run of form against Diego Simeone's Atletico Madrid in the Champions League.

He kept a clean sheet as the Blues beat the La Liga side 2-0 on Wednesday (3-0 on aggregate).

Rudiger was at the heart of Chelsea's success last night as he stifled Luis Suarez for the second time following the first leg.

He pocketed the ex-Liverpool forward with Simeone dragging him off before the hour mark.

His second half incident with Stefan Savic saw the defender receive a red card with Chelsea supporters hailing his sh*thousery.

One Twitter user wrote: "Rudiger is the sh*thouse we have been lacking since Diego Costa left."

A second tweeted: "Suarez failed the Rudiger test TWICE."

A third added: "Rudiger is bringing that Costa vibe at Chelsea."

Speaking after the game, former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand praised Rudiger's performance.

"I think he's a solid defender," he said.

"I think on the ball, you can see some weakness in his game, but defending-wise, you can see an edge to him we haven't seen in a while especially under Frank.

"It was obvious Frank didn't fancy him as a defender and that happens in your career, it can't just be a bed or roses for everyone, but he's responded ever so well since he's been called upon by the new manager."
