Borussia Monchengladbach Manager Andre Schubert Has Interesting Way Of Picking Captain

Borussia Monchengladbach boss Andre Schubert is considering allowing his squad members to vote for the club's new captain.

The German side have a captaincy void to fill after the departure of Granit Xhaka to Arsenal as well as the retirement of defender Martin Stranzl. Following finishing inside the Champions League qualifying spots, they now need a skipper for the upcoming Bundesliga campaign and for their European excursion's.

Schubert could let the players vote for the new captain which would be a unique way of deciding the leader of the pack.

Meanwhile, in their first pre-season fixture, Eden Hazard's brother, Thorgan, scored four goals en route to a comprehensive 15-0 victory. Could the younger sibling follow in his brothers footsteps, who captained Belgium for the Euro's, by becoming a captain?

What do say guys, is this method a good or bad idea? Sound off in the comments section below.
