YouTube sensation iShowSpeed appeared to get a reaction from Lionel Messi after he taunted him with a Cristiano Ronaldo comment.

After weeks of anticipation, Argentine legend Messi was finally unveiled as Inter Miami’s new star on Sunday in front of a packed crowd.

On Friday night, Messi made his debut as Inter Miami took on Cruz Azul in the Leagues Cup South.

During the match, massive Ronaldo fan iShowSpeed was pitch side and was filmed shouting at Messi.

After shouting ‘Ronaldo is best’, Messi appeared to turn around and look at the American. You can watch the footage below.

Reacting to Messi’s turn, an excited iShowSpeed said: “Oh he looked, he looked! Yo, he looked!”

In true Messi style, he made his own headlines as he managed to score a spectacular last-minute free kick to win the match for his new club.

After the match, Messi was interviewed by Apple TV, he said: “What I saw was the goal. I saw the goal, I knew I had to score. It was the last play of the game, and I wanted to score so we didn’t go to penalties.

“It was very important for us to get this win because in the tournament it’s going to give us confidence moving forward.”

Messi was introduced to the crowd in the 54th minute alongside fellow big-name signing and former Barcelona teammate, Sergio Busquets.

The club’s co-owner, David Beckham said: “It's terrible watching these games. As an ex-player, you get frustrated. As a player, you can do something about it if you're losing, when you're an owner, you can't.

“But tonight is about the people. It's about this. This is what we always saw as our vision, me and Jorge and Jose and the club, this is what we saw.”

He added: “So this is such a special night for us, for our families, for everyone that's in this stadium, for you guys. It is such a moment for this country. It's such a moment for this league. And it's a very proud moment for us.”

Inter Miami will be back in action next week as they take on Atlanta United on Tuesday.
