"Jog on..." - Goldbridge says Man Utd target should never play for the club after Liverpool gesture

"Jog on..." - Goldbridge says Man Utd target should never play for the club after Liverpool gesture

Goldbridge isn't happy.

Mark Goldbridge no longer wants Jude Bellingham to sign for Manchester United after being angered by the Borussia Dortmund star.

Bellingham, 19, is wanted by several top clubs across Europe after continuing to impress for both Dortmund and England.

While Liverpool and Real Madrid are thought to be at the front of the queue for the midfielder, Manchester United are also interested in signing him.

United attempted to bring Bellingham to Old Trafford in 2020 but the midfielder, who was then at Championship side Birmingham City, turned down the Red Devils to move to Dortmund instead.

The Guardian claim United remain interested in Bellingham and could make an approach for him this summer.

However, prominent United supporter Goldbridge insists he doesn't want Bellingham at the club.

The streamer was angered by Bellingham 'liking' a picture of Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold smiling in front of the 'This Is Anfield' sign after Sunday's 7-0 win over United.

Goldbridge: Jog on, Bellingham

"I'm probably breaking news here, but I'm going to say it and stick my neck out and again you can clip this if you want – Jude Bellingham, you can bl**dy swim from Germany to Liverpool, jog on," said Goldbridge on his YouTube channel.

"I don't want you at Man United now – you can swim and jog to Liverpool."

He added: "I saw what you did at the weekend – I saw you liked Trent's [Alexander-Arnold] post about 7-0 – jog on.

"You get one chance with this fan base – you're already a scouser for me. Jog on, swim on, get out. Not interested."

He then finished his rant by comparing Bellingham to a current United midfielder.

"You're just a wish Fred," he added.

It remains to be seen whether United will be able to afford Bellingham this summer, with the midfielder expected to cost far in excess of £100m.

United have made Tottenham striker Harry Kane their number one transfer target and are unlikely to be able sign both players due to financial fair play restrictions.
