Lindelof moved to Old Trafford from Benfica in 2017 and has made 196 appearances for the club.
He was a regular until last season, when Raphael Varane's arrival saw him drop to the bench. Despite that, Lindelof managed to make 35 appearances in all competitions and he was United's most consistent defender.
The Sweden international's greatest strength lies in his ability on the ball and he regularly busts out a long-range ball to United's wingers.

Ten Hag likes his defenders to play out from the back and Lindelof can do that too, regularly driving forward to join the attack.
United are happy to move Phil Jones, Eric Bailly and Axel Tuanzebe on and that would leave them with three senior defenders.
A move for Ajax youngster Jurrien Timber looks dead in the water, while his teammate Lisandro Martinez is also admired by Arsenal.
Maguire's poor form and Varane's injury issues could see Lindelof benefit most from the change in manager.
Lindelof is already back in pre-season training and he shared a warm embrace with ten Hag, something supporters took note of.

One fan commented: "His passing, calmness on the ball, proactive way to defend and intercept the ball is exactly what Ten Hag wants from a centre back."
Another said: "He's our most consistent defender right now, hope ten Hag sees it."
A third put: "Definition of ball progression."
While someone tweeted: "Isn’t that up to 4 assists for Rashford alone? The guy’s passing is just superb."
United finished sixth in the Premier League and ended the campaign with 58 points - their lowest-ever tally.
Six first-team players were allowed to move on following the expiry of their contracts, including club record signing Paul Pogba.

No new signings have arrived yet but they are believed to be imminent.
A fee for Feyenoord full-back Tyrell Malacia has been agreed, while discussions continue over Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong.
The Netherlands international worked under ten Hag at Ajax and is seen as a 'vital part' of the project.
Christian Eriksen is a free agent and has an offer on the table from United, as well as Brentford.
