Manchester United’s Alex Telles And Hannibal Mejbri Involved In Fiery Training Ground Bust Up

The reported bust up happened earlier this month, training was brought to a halt and players were ordered back to changing rooms

Manchester United stars Alex Telles and Hannibal Mejbri have been revealed as the two players involved in a fiery training ground bust up earlier this month.

The reported incident occurred on the 12th of May, days after United put on a horror show in a 4-0 defeat by Brighton at the Amex Stadium. It was reported that interim manager Ralf Rangnick had to intervene in order to stop the altercation between the two players.

The Sun has previously reported that the rest of United’s squad were left ‘stunned’ after two players got into a ‘full on scrap’. And now, Daily Mail has claimed that the two players involved were full back Alex Telles and youngster Hannibal Mejbri

Mejbri has previously showed his fiery side after his no nonsense cameo during United's 4-0 defeat at Anfield earned him both plaudits and criticism from pundits and fans.

In the aftermath of the incident, training at United’s camp was stopped, with players ordered to return to the changing rooms. This incident summed up United’s season, it has been ugly and disastrous both on and off the pitch.

The two players in question, Telles and Mejbri both started United’s final game of the season on Sunday, a 1-0 defeat by Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park, former United man Wilfried Zaha netted the only goal.

The defeat left United sixth, with 58 points, the club’s worst points tally in the Premier League since records began.

Luckily for United, they managed to secure a place in next season's Europa League instead of the Europa Conference League, after a helping hand from Brighton, who managed to come back from 1-0 down to beat West Ham 3-1.

New United boss Erik ten Hag was in the crowd at Selhurst Park as he got to see his new players in action for the first time, if he didn't know before, he surely knows now that the task facing him will be a monumental challenge.

After the dismal season ended, United fans will be looking ahead with some renewed hope and optimism that ten Hag will be the man to bring success back to Old Trafford, 'the theatre of dream' has endured multiple nightmares this season.

Fans will be expecting improvements on and off the pitch, United are expected to be very busy in the upcoming summer transfer window, with plenty of outgoings and incomings expected as the squad head for a much needed make over.

Only time will tell whether ten Hag is the right man to steer this great club back on track.
