Manchester United Concede Jamie Vardy Strike Straight From Kick-Off In Crazy Minute Of Football

Manchester United conceded straight from kick-off after Marcus Rashford levelled matters against Leicester City this afternoon.

In his first appearance of the season, Rashford raced in behind to latch onto a Victor Lindelof pass to make it 2-2 at the King Power Stadium with just under 10 minutes to play.

The goal had come only a few minutes after Caglar Soyuncu found the net to make it 2-1 to the hosts.

United hurried back into their own half and hoped to kick on and get a winner.

But the exact opposite happened as just 15 seconds after the restart following Rashford's equaliser, Jamie Vardy put Leicester back in the lead with a glorious half volley after being set up by Ayoze Perez.

Things happened so quickly, in fact, that United's Twitter admin didn't even have time to tweet that Rashford had scored on his return.

Because just as they were composing the post, the ball was in the net at the other end when Vardy bagged.

In stoppage time, the result was wrapped up in stoppage time when Patson Daka converted from close range to make it 4-2 and end United's incredible 29-game unbeaten run on the road in the league.

Mason Greenwood had opened the scoring with a thunderous strike from distance that went in off the post in the first half, before Youri Tielemans came up with a worldie of his own to make it 1-1.

The six-goal thriller in Leicester's favour means United are winless in their last three league games, losing two and drawing one.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side sit in fifth position in the table.
