Manchester United host Brentford in their Premier League clash on Wednesday.

The Red Devils were beaten 2-0 by Newcastle last Sunday, as Erik ten Hag's Champions League hopes took a significant hit.

Having started the weekend in third place, United were banished to fifth in a matter of days, with both Newcastle and Tottenham going ahead on goal difference.

Supporters will be hoping their team can bounce back with a much needed win over the Bees at Old Trafford.

Meanwhile, seventh-placed Brentford played out an enthralling 3-3 draw with Brighton, as Thomas Frank spies a late surge to finish in the European places.

Is Man Utd vs Brentford on TV?

The match will kick-off at 8pm UK time on Wednesday evening.

However, unfortunately for fans, the game will not be shown on live TV in the UK.

This is because the original fixture was not selected for broadcast.

The two teams were scheduled to play on Sunday 26 February. However, the small matter of the Carabao Cup final got in the way, forcing the game to be postponed.

The rules state that if a game is not selected for TV, the rearranged match is also bound by the same restrictions.

West Ham take on Newcastle at the same time, and that match will be shown on Sky Sports instead, as the Magpies look to hold onto third place in the league.

What happened in the reverse fixture?

Ten Hag's reign got off to an ugly start as Manchester United were blown out of the water by Brentford 4-0 back in August.

The west London based club ran riot in the first half, scoring all four goals inside 35 minutes, leaving United with a mountain to climb in the second half.

Goals from Josh Dasilva, Mathias Jensen, Ben Mee and Bryan Mbeumo wrapped up the three points, as ten Hag surrendered to back-to-back defeats in his first two games as manager.

The Dutchman will be hoping for revenge at the Theatre of Dreams this time round.
