One Manchester United fan has offered his twopence on who Erik ten Hag should keep and sell this summer.

There are a number of question marks over several players' futures at Old Trafford, with Erik ten Hag plotting a major overhaul to his squad.

United's final game of the season was a 2-1 defeat to local rivals Manchester City in the FA Cup final, as Ten Hag's hopes of double silverware vanished.

Meanwhile, Pep Guardiola is on course for the treble which would match the achievements of former Red Devils boss Sir Alex Ferguson.

It was a disappointing end to an otherwise promising season for United, with a Carabao Cup trophy and third-placed finish under their belt.

Ten Hag will now turn his attention to the summer transfer window, with several players tipped to leave the club.

But who should the Dutchman keep, and who should he cash in on this summer?

One fan has answered that question on Twitter, producing a detailed list of categories including '100% keep', '100% sell', 'squad depth', 'one more year' and 'loan.'

While his opinions look to be fairly popular, with the post amassing over 11,000 likes.

The fan wrote: "Season over, my take on Manchester United’s squad" before sharing his thoughts on the entire squad.

The players on the '100% keep' list included Alejandro Garnacho, Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford, Lisandro Martinez, Casemiro, Raphael Varane, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Luke Shaw, Antony, Amad Diallo and Diogo Dalot.

There are few surprises there, with the majority of the names mentioned heavily featuring in Ten Hag's starting XI.

Interestingly, both Wan-Bissaka and Dalot have been rumoured with moves away, but Ten Hag could choose to keep the pair following a number of defensive crises last term.

While Diallo, who has enjoyed an excellent loan spell in the Championship with Sunderland, is also on the list.

Five players were named to help provide squad depth including Facundo Pellistri, Victor Lindelof, Kobbie Mainoo, Hannibal Mejbri, Tyrell Malacia.

Indeed, Lindelof has helped cover for the injured Lisandro Martinez in defence, suggesting he could be a useful back-up in future.

While Pellistri, Mainoo and Mejbri and Malacia are all relatively young and could help provide firepower from the bench.

The fan reckons Jadon Sancho and Chistian Eriksen should both be given one more year.

Sancho has had a difficult start to life at Old Trafford, while Eriksen isn't getting any younger.

Anthony Elanga and Alvaro Fernandez have been put forward for a loan move, with the latter unable to get into the starting XI under Ten Hag.

Finally, eight players have been named on the '100% sell' list as United seek to raise funds for new players.

David de Gea, Brandon Williams, Anthony Martial, Wout Weghorst, Fred, Scott McTominay, Donny van de Beek, Harry Maguire have all been tipped to leave.

De Gea was partly blamed for Manchester City's winning goal and has often come under fire for mistakes during the big games throughout his United career.

Meanwhile, Martial is seemingly too injury-prone, Van de Beek has struggled to adapt to the Premier League since making the switch from Ajax in 2020 and club captain Maguire has fallen right down the pecking order.
