Marcus Rashford is set to start from the bench against Sevilla.

United travel to the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium to take on Sevilla in the second-leg of the Europa League quarter-final.

The tie is delicately poised at 2-2 after United conceded two late own-goals in the first leg at Old Trafford.

And Erik ten Hag has called on his team to get the better of their emotions for the reverse fixture.

In his pre-match press conference the Dutchman said: "The timing of emotions is important in big games - we must focus on the best game you can as a team and individual"

While Sevilla are having a poor domestic season and languishing just five points clear of the relegation zone, they are Europa League specialists, having won the trophy a record six times.

But Ten Hag said he is "confident" his side can get back on track on Thursday with victory in Spain to progress to the semi-finals, where they will either play Juventus or Sporting.

Marcus Rashford 'on bench'

Rashford has been named among the substitutes against Sevilla.

The England international was tipped to return to the starting line-up, despite having missed the best part of two weeks with a groin injury.

The 25-year-old has been in the best form of his career this term, having claimed 28 goals, including six in the Europa League.

However, Ten Hag said on Wednesday Rashford has trained once with the team and he had not yet decided whether he will feature in the match or not.

Meanwhile, in his press conference Sevilla boss Jose Luis Mendilibar said Rashford is "one of the best players" around.

Mendilibar said: "Well, Rashford is one of the best players nowadays. We have to think about ourselves, respecting the opposite team but we don't have to think about particular players."

Man Utd team news

Elsewhere, Antony, Diogo Dalot and Marcel Sabitzer are set to start against Sevilla.

Indeed, the latter has only just recovered from an injury sustained in the warm-up of United's last game against Nottingham Forest.

Christian Eriksen, Anthony Martial and Aaron Wan-Bissaka are also starting the game. If such news is true it remains to be seen who out of Dalot and Wan-Bissaka will operate from their favoured right-back position.

The full Man Utd line-up is here:

Starting XI: De Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Maguire, Lindelof, Dalot, Eriksen, Casemiro, Sabitzer, Antony, Martial, Sancho.

Subs: Butland, Vitek, Rashford, Malacia, Fred, Shaw, Weghorst, Pellistri, Elanga, Iqbal.
