Erik ten Hag has called up teenage duo Omari Forson and Daniel Gore to train with the first-team ahead of Manchester United's trip to Bournemouth.

The Red Devils travel to the Viatlity Stadium on Saturday in their bid to secure Champions League football, and they have been handed a number of injury boosts in the lead-up to kick-off.

Marcus Rashford was spotted back in training on Wednesday morning after he missed United's 2-0 win over Wolves with a leg injury.

Scott McTominay was also present, having not featured for the club since scoring in a 2-0 win over Everton on April the 8th.

Meanwhile, Raphael Varane, who was replaced by Harry Maguire as a precaution against Wolves, also took part.

However, supporters may not have recognised youngsters Forson and Gore, who were given the opportunity to train with the senior squad, the club have confirmed.

Their inclusion marks the 32nd player from the 'Professional Development Phase' to have trained with the first team this season, amassing 571 sessions in total.

Forson has enjoyed a prolific season for United's U-21 side, scoring eight goals from attacking midfield and providing two assists.

However, Anthony Martial will remember Gore well, but for all the wrong reasons, after the pair were involved in a training ground bust-up over the World Cup.

What happened?

While the World Cup was being played in Qatar, a number of academy players were drafted into make up the numbers during training, including 18-year-old Gore.

Those players selected were instructed not to challenge first-team players in an attempt to prevent any unwanted injuries.

However, Gore did not heed his manager's warning, clattering into Martial and sparking an angry confrontation between the pair, claim The Mirror.

Martial is said to have lashed out in response, but the teenager stood his ground, with the pair needing to be separated before training was suspended.

Both players are said to have since made peace, although Ten Hag may be choose to put them on the same training team this time round.

Martial was on the scoresheet last time out against Wolves, and looks likely to be given the nod once more against Bournemouth, as he looks to finish a season plagued by injury on a high note.
