Roy Keane will 'really enjoy' seeing Man City lift the Premier League trophy this afternoon

There's a part of Roy Keane that will "really enjoy" watching Manchester City lift the Premier League title.

The former Manchester United captain is on punditry duty for Sunday's clash between Manchester City and Chelsea – a fixture that will see Pep Guardiola's side lift an unprecedented fifth Premier League trophy in six years.

City, who have lost just four games all season, were officially crowned champions on Saturday following Arsenal's 1-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest.

They currently sit four points ahead of the Gunners, who only have one game remaining.

Roy Keane, meanwhile, will sit back and "enjoy" the scenes on Sunday because he appreciates greatness.

That's according to Sky Sports presenter Dave Jones, who is working this weekend's clash alongside Jamie Redknapp, Micah Richards and Gary Neville.

Speaking on Surrey Cricket's YouTube channel, Jones said: "We'll be on the pitch with the customary interview with Pep Guardiola and the Manchester City players, and Roy will throw himself into it. He will get stuck into it and I think there's a part of him that will really enjoy that as well.

"I think with Roy he just recognises greatness and he appreciates greatness. So if he thought that Manchester City weren't up to it, he'd probably be there begrudgingly.

"But he has huge admiration, I know that, for Pep Guardiola and for the way that Manchester City play football. I will be asking him on Sunday to compare the two teams and where do we actually put this Manchester City team in terms of the great Premier League sides?"

Jones also opened up on working with Keane on a typical Super Sunday and it sounds fun, yet a little intimidating.

"I've always felt like it was my duty to try and provoke him as much as anything. What's the point having a quiet, dormant Roy Keane sitting next to you?" he said.

"I think that there are definitely more than one Roy Keanes. There is the one who is, and it seems strange to say it because people don't appreciate it, but he's a bundle of laughs.

"He turns up on a Super Sunday and it's a long day and he's telling stories, cracking jokes, winding people up. He is the centre of fun on most Super Sundays.

"Sometimes he's got this nack which still catches me out to this day, where you're having a bit of a joke with him off camera and then the red light comes on and you're back live on air and you're still in that sort of jocular mood and you see the shutters have come down and you've got the other Roy, who's turned up."
