Man Utd star Marcus Rashford pots incredible snooker shot in behind-the-scenes video

Man Utd star Marcus Rashford certainly isn't a snooker novice.

Manchester United star Marcus Rashford took a break from preparations to take on Leeds earlier this week by playing snooker - and he potted an incredible swerve shot.

United collaborated with the World Snooker Tour for a YouTube video that has been viewed over 300,000 times.

It involves Chinese snooker icon Ding Junhui, who has won 14 ranking titles in the sport, giving Rashford, David de Gea and Tyrell Malacia some tips on how to improve their game - as well as going behind-the-scenes at Old Trafford.

Ding sets up De Gea with a safety shot, in which he needs a few tries to get right. But he did fare slightly better than team-mate Malacia, who took the shot but pocketed the white ball.

Next up was Rashford - and it is fair to say that United's top scorer this season didn't need too many tips in order to line up his shot.

With the aid of Ding, Rashford was tested on whether he could play a swerve shot around the black ball and pot the red on the edge of the left corner pocket.

He narrowly missed with his first attempt, but nailed it on the second try, with the white striking a glancing blow on the red and sending it into the pocket.

The forward certainly isn't a novice when it comes to snooker, having previously posted images of him playing frames prior to England duty in 2018.

He even got the seal of approval from three-time world champion Mark Williams, who replied: "Looking good there."

Away from the baize, Rashford's focus will be on Sunday's clash against Leeds, where he will look to add to his Premier League tally for the season.

The 25-year-old netted in Wednesday's 2-2 draw against the same opposition at Old Trafford, and now has 11 league goals in 2022/23.
