Man United team news for Nottingham Forest 'leaked' online, fans are very concerned

Manchester United resume their Premier League campaign at Nottingham Forest.

Manchester United's team news has 'leaked' online ahead of their crunch Premier League game against Nottingham Forest.

Man United resume their league campaign today following their 2-2 draw against Sevilla in the Europa League.

They'll look to make it three league wins in a row, having picked up three points over Brentford and Everton in recent weeks.

But Erik ten Hag will have to earn the result at the City Ground without key first-team players, including Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane, who both suffered injuries in midweek.

According to reports online, Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof will slot in at centre-back, with Tyrell Malacia supposedly dropped following his mistake against Sevilla.

Diogo Dalot will reportedly deputise at left-back, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka set to start at right-back.

If Ten Hag does indeed go with that back four, then there'd be no recognised left footer in defence.

The Portuguese played at left-back during his loan spell at AC Milan so he's somewhat familiar with that position, but some Man United supporters aren't convinced.

Naturally, Man United's leaked team news sent social media wild.

One Twitter user wrote: "No way.. Talk about an unbalanced defence."

A second tweeted: "I hope not, as bad as Malacia was midweek."

A third added: "So a fully right footed defence?"

A fourth said: "Honestly i prefer Fred at LB than Dalot."

Another joked: "Brennan Johnson is scoring 4."

Ten Hag spoke about the defensive injuries he faces as he said it's an opportunity for other players to contribute.

"When players drop out, others have to step in and therefore you have a squad," he said during his pre-match press conference. "It's not always easy to not always be a starter, but when your time's coming, you have to show it. And you have to show the demands of a big club like Manchester United if you want to be here.

"Other players will now get their opportunities and they have to take them and they have to contribute to the team and to make the season a success."

Man United's starting XI will drop at 3:30pm (UK time).
