Manchester City’s Premier League title-winning 3-2 win over QPR in 2012 doesn’t need too much retelling.
The Aguero moment, the pass from Balotelli, the infamous commentary line from Martin Tyler. Even Paul Merson’s reaction, watching the game live for Soccer Saturday.
But for 91 minutes, everything that could go wrong, did go wrong.
At 2-1 down, with the score having been that way for 25 minutes, City looked down and out. The Premier League title looked set to be retained by Manchester United, who played their part by winning 1-0 at Sunderland.

This one meant the most for City fans, with the club having not won a top division title since the 1967/68 season. It was only 14 years since they had been relegated to League One.
But Aguero popped up, getting that crucial touch to divert the ball beyond the QPR goalkeeper and into the back of the net to steal the title away from United. Cue delirium at the Etihad Stadium.
