Brighton star Moises Caicedo, who has been linked with Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea this January, has released a statement about his future.

The three Premier League giants have all been eager to sign Caicedo in the winter window.

Indeed, Liverpool are languishing in ninth place and in dire need of midfield reinforcements.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are keen to consolidate their position at the Premier League summit with new signings. Mikel Arteta's side are now said to be keeping tabs on the Brighton star after he changed agents.

Chelsea have also been linked with Caicedo and even saw a £55million bid reportedly turned down by the Seagulls for the player.

The Ecuador international has now broken his silence on any future move with just a week until the end of the January window.

Caicedo opens up about Brighton future

Caicedo insisted that he remained focused on Brighton, despite speculation linking him to some of the Premier League’s biggest clubs.

The youngster said: “I’m focused on Brighton.

"I’m here, I’m focused on this club so things from outside don’t trouble me, nor does it take that focus away because I’m focused only on here.

“I only try to be focused on the club which opened the doors for me to be playing every week”.

The defensive midfielder joined Brighton in February 2021 and has since featured 26 times in the Premier League.

Caicedo, who has 28 caps for Ecuador and scored against Senegal at the 2022 World Cup, is under contract at Brighton until 2025.

He added: “I am here, I'm playing every day. Things from outside don't trouble me, nor does it take that focus away because I'm focused only on here.

"I handle [the speculation] well. You hear rumours here and there, but I only try to be focused on the club."
