Real Madrid are reportedly looking to bring back Nico Paz before selling him for significant profit - despite being banned from doing so.
After the return of Jose Mourinho for a second spell, Real have been extremely busy in the transfer market - wrapping up deals for Denzel Dumfries, Ibrahima Konate, Bernardo Silva and Marc Cucurella.
But their next rumoured move is for exciting Argentina star Nico Paz, a product of the club's 'La Fabrica' academy who left permanently for Como in 2024.
Paz only managed eight appearances in the Los Blancos first-team after joining from CD Tenerife but became a revelation in Serie A, scoring 13 times in 40 games to help Cesc Fabregas's Como to secure Champions League qualification last season.

When they sold him for just €6 million, Real included a buy-back clause in the region of €9 million.
It was widely reported that Los Blancos had until June 30 to bring Paz back to the Santiago Bernabeu.
FIFA rule blocks Real Madrid Nico Paz resale as journalist explains situation
However there are now conflicting reports surrounding Paz's situation, Fabrizio Romano claims that the two clubs are poised to meet to discuss Paz re-signing for Real just two years after moving on.
He also added that Real intended to offer Como the chance to buy Paz back for an increased fee of €60 million.
Como would be getting first refusal but Real would be willing to sell Paz elsewhere if they the Italian side feel priced out.
But to contrary, Jose Felix Díaz of AS claims that such an arrangement is not possible as Real would be forced to wait a minimum of 12 weeks before they can sell Paz after registering him.
He would therefore not be allowed to make another permanent move until the January transfer window, denying Real their savvy resale plan.
On X, he wrote: "Real Madrid cannot buy back Nico Paz to then resell him in the summer market. Impossible. Twelve weeks must pass, that is, until the winter market."
FIFA rules state that "no club of player shall be involved in a bridge transfer" and this would certainly appear to qualify as one.
The regulations added that a move is considered a bridge transfer when "two consecutive transfers, national or international, of the same player occur within a period of 16 weeks".
Sanctions will be imposed on all parties if FIFA believe a bridge transfer has taken place.
Inter Milan, Tottenham, Chelsea, Arsenal, Inter Milan, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig are all credited with interest in Paz, who has been capped 10 times for Argentina.
The 21-year-old, contracted to Como until 2028, is currently with La Albiceleste for the World Cup in North America, replacing the legendary Lionel Messi for his tournament debut against Algeria.
Paz was born in Tenerife in the Canary Islands but elected to play for Argentina.
With Lionel Scaloni's side already securing their spot in the round of 32, Paz could be given his first start in the final group game against Jordan in Arlington, Texas on Sunday.
