Barcelona star Raphinha dropped one of the coldest quotes of the season so far following his incredible individual performance against Bayern Munich on Wednesday.

After five consecutive losses against the German giants, Barcelona finally registered their third-ever victory against Bayern and they did so in impressive fashion.

It didn't take long for the hosts to take the lead, with Raphinha rounding Neuer and slotting home inside a minute.

Bayern did bounce back pretty well after their disastrous start as they saw Harry Kane have an equaliser ruled out before the England captain eventually got them level with a well-taken volley.

That was about as good as it got for the Bundesliga side as Robert Lewandowski polked the ball into an empty net before a stunning solo effort from Raphinha gave the Catalan's breathing space before the break.

Although the likes of Lamine Yamal and Pedri put on a show for their supporters, Raphinha was without a doubt the star of the show with the former Leeds United winger completing his hat-trick in the second half.

The Brazilian international was making his 100th appearance for the club since making the move in 2022.

Following the game, the 27-year-old was asked if it was his best performance to date for the club, and his answer will certainly excite Barca fans.

“Was this my best game at Barcelona? One of my best… …the best is yet to come," he said during a post-match interview.

Raphinha might be hoping that his 'best' comes pretty quickly with the El Clasico coming up on Saturday.

Barcelona currently sit three points ahead of the European champions in La Liga as they look to reclaim the Spanish title.

While Barca will go into the game in high spirits after their Champions League heroics, Madrid also put on a show on matchday three as their Brazilian superstar also grabbed the match ball in a 5-2 win against Borussia Dortmund.
