Alvaro Arbeloa is reportedly demanding that Real Madrid reverse a transfer decision made by former manager Xabi Alonso.
After a brutal 3-2 loss to historic rivals Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup final, a shock statement from Real Madrid confirmed that manager Alonso had left the club “by mutual consent” after just seven months in charge.
At least in the short term, Alonso has been replaced by former Real Madrid and Liverpool teammate Arbeloa, who has stepped up from his previous role of Castilla, Madrid’s B team.
Since the surprise appointment, there has been speculation over how Arbeloa could change the Real Madrid lineup and how the notable players that reportedly fell out with Alonso could once again find form.

And according to one report, the Spaniard is more than willing to make some big calls, as he's reportedly demanding the board move quickly to reverse Alonso's final transfer call.

Among the players said to have been unhappy with is young superstar Endrick as the Brazilian struggled to find a regular place in Alonso's starting team.
Because of this, the 19-year-old has regularly been linked with a move away from the Bernabeu with the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea and several major European sides said to be interested.

Eventually, Endrick joined Lyon last month on loan having only made three appearances in all competitions for Los Blancos this season.
However, after just a few days with the French club, Endrick could return to Real Madrid as Arbeloa is reportedly demanding that the loan move be cancelled as soon as possible.
Arbeloa is said to be a big admirer of Endrick and has supported him since day one, leading to him putting in a formal request to club president Florentino Perez.
And according to a report from Fichajes, Endrick's return is certainly possible thanks to an unusual clause inserted into the contract for his loan move to Lyon.

The report claims that Madrid maintain the right to terminate the loan early as a safeguard for the Spanish giants in case there was a change of leadership at the club.
For Lyon, the clause was reportedly completely disregarded, as they expected Endrick would complete at least the second half of the season in Lyon, but they now face losing the star forward.
Although Real Madrid are covered legally should they decide to terminate the loan, it remains to be seen if either Endrick or the club board would be unhappy with the media attention that would no doubt come should they have such a sudden change of mind.
