Barcelona fans spotted what Neymar commented on Lamine Yamal's social media post after the youngster copied his idol's celebration.

Barca, who were fresh off beating Real Madrid in the Spanish Super Cup, resumed their campaign on Wednesday with a stunning 5-1 victory over Real Betis in the Copa del Rey.

Gavi, Jules Kounde, Raphinha, Ferran Torres and Yamal all got on the score-sheet as the Catalan giants booked their spot in the next round of the competition.

Yamal rounded off the scoring and celebrated by copying Neymar's celebration.

After the game, the 17-year-old posted on Instagram, with the Brazilian star leaving a brilliant comment that didn't go unnoticed among Barca fans.

He wrote: "You're very Brazilian. Keep dance, crack."

Yamal idolised Neymar, who won two La Liga titles and the Champions League during his time at Barca, when he was growing up rather than club icon Lionel Messi.

"I was five years old when I saw him at Santos, but seven years old when I saw him in person at FC Barcelona at the Camp Nou. It was incredible to see him.," he explained. "Yes, it’s true that (Lionel) Messi was there who was also incredible, but he was something totally different. Neymar has always been my idol. He’s a star, a football legend."

Hansi Flick hailed Yamal's showing against Betis but insists the club need to take care of him.

"But you can see the player Yamal is... in big games, you see the big talents, and Lamine has proved he is one of them many times," said Flick. "He is on a great path right now, but he is very young and we need to take care of him."

Yamal, who starred at last summer's Euro 2024, has scored nine goals in 24 appearances across all competitions this season.

He continues to enhance his reputation as the teenage star is destined to enjoy a glittering career.
