A Real Madrid legend has hit out at Barcelona star Lamine Yamal after spotting one thing that he did during his Nations League post-match press conference.
On Sunday night, Euro 2024 champions Spain fell short in retaining their Nations League trophy after losing the 2024/25 final against Portugal in a penalty shootout following a 2-2 draw.
In the semi-finals, Spain had also been involved in a 5-4 thriller against France with superstar Yamal netting a brace and taking home the player of the match award.

After the match, Yamal spoke with the media in a press conference and his behaviour has seriously angered a Real Madrid legend who has spoken out to slam the Barcelona star.
During his appearance at the press conference, Yamal decided to wear a cap backwards, and former Real Madrid midfielder Guti isn't happy about it.

Speaking on Spanish television programme El Chiringuito, Guti claimed that the youngster shouldn't be dressed so casually when representing the Spanish national team.

He said: "I don't know if this is the first time I've seen a guy with a cap backward. I don't like that. Because he's with the Spanish national team!
"When he goes to Ibiza, or wherever he wants, he can do it. But not with the Spanish national team at a press conference. I don't like it."
Guti's comments were immediately met with criticism from his fellow panelists, but that didn't stop him from doubling down, claiming that as he gets older his opinion on this kind of behaviour becomes more cynical.
"This is the reality. It's not Lamine's fault, he ultimately does what he wants. It's the fault of people being there and who have to tell him, 'Hey, no, not wearing a cap at a press conference with the Spanish national team.'"

Despite his stellar performance in the semi-final clash with France, Yamal failed to impress during the Nations League final, leading to some fans claiming that he's now out of the running for the 2025 Ballon d'Or award.
Spain will now enjoy a break from playing together over the summer, before returning to resume their World Cup qualifying campaign against Bulgaria in early September.
