Manchester City's Home Shirt For Next Season Is Revealed And Fans Hate It

Next season's home shirt shows as many cracks as Pep Guardiola's side have had at times this season as they've failed to defend the title.

Manchester City's new home shirt for next season was released too early on the Puma website this morning and fans didn't take too well to the reveal.

Puma put the kit up on their American website this morning but it's already been taken down, and we don't know if that's because it shouldn't be going up yet or because fans didn't like it.

The new City home shirt, for whenever next season is, has somewhat of a cracked motif, which, as one fan pointed out, is a bit 'poetic that the shirt shows cracks all over. Kinda describes how the formidables crumbled this season.'

One fan simply asked, "Where's Umbro or Kappa when ya need em?" Pointing out that shirt was no longer available another said, "Taken down now. Just like anyone who parts with money for this."

Another fan is sticking to his retro shirt saying, "It's bloody horrendous. They won't be seeing any of my money for one of them. I'll stick with my retro Colin Bell number 8."

Some were finding some less than complimentary comparisons, "looks like a fu**ing swimming pool", claimed one, "ahhh, they got for that knackered driveway effect," opined another.

One fan hates the design so much they wish it carried on to the back just for consistent hate, saying, "Awful that. Hate the 'design' they've put on it but it's even worse how it's plain on the back imo."

Another simply asked "Who approves this nonsense?" and @SportsOrgPM made his thoughts very relatable to the current situation and called for the cancellation of the season, tweeting, "Cancel next season now if that's the shirt."

City previously had a deal with Nike for their kits but that came to an end last season and they were replaced by Puma.

There were no official details of the new deal released but reports claim the Premier League side will earn £65 million over 10 seasons, starting with the current season.

What do you think of City's new kit?
