19-year-old Julio Enciso comes off Brighton bench and scores an absolute thunderbolt winner against Chelsea

"Remember the name: Julio Enciso." Chelsea shot-stopper Kepa Arrizabalaga was helpless against the Brighton substitute’s thunderous strike.

Julio Enciso has scored an incredible thunderbolt winner against Chelsea after coming off the bench for Brighton in their Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge.

Conor Gallagher fired Chelsea into a first-half lead on Saturday before Brighton striker Danny Welbeck pulled back an equaliser before half-time.

Enciso, who came off the bench in the first half to replace Joel Veltman, stunned Chelsea fans at Stamford Bridge with a screamer for Brighton in the 69th minute.

Solly March pounced on a Reece James mistake and found Brighton teammate Enciso, who was unmarked with ample space around him.

Enciso, 19, then took a couple of touches before unleashing a thunderous strike past Kepa Arrizabalaga and into the top corner of the Chelsea net.

One fan wrote: “Brighton have already found their Evan Ferguson replacement, LMFAO. Julio Enciso [what a] finish.”

“That’s a goal worthy of winning a game. Julio Enciso, take a bow, son,” a Twitter user added.

Someone else commented: “I always knew Julio Enciso had that in his locker.”

Another tweeted: “Julio Enciso with the Goal of the Season.”

While a fifth posted: “Remember the name: Julio Enciso.”

And a sixth said: “Brighton are just a joy to watch and Julio Enciso with a stunning strike.”

Chelsea have now suffered three defeats across all competitions since Blues legend Frank Lampard returned to Stamford Bridge as caretaker manager.

Lampard, who took charge after the sacking of Graham Potter, saw his side lose 1-0 to Wolves before Chelsea suffered a 2-0 defeat to Real Madrid in the Champions League.

The Blues will now host Champions League holders Madrid at Stamford Bridge on 18th April, with Chelsea 2-0 down on an aggregate scoreline.
