Never forget Jamie Carragher calling YouTuber a 'stupid p****' after nailing him in charity game

Jamie Carragher was not taking any prisoners in the charity game, as Joe Weller found out.

Jamie Carragher took no prisoners in every game he played in and that includes charity fixtures - with YouTuber Joe Weller feeling his wrath back in September 2016.

EE put on the Wembley Cup for a game that featured a slew of YouTubers and influencers, as well as a number of legendary players, turning out for Spencer FC and Weller Wanderers.

Robert Pires, Peter Schmeichel, Jay Jay Okocha, Robbie Fowler, Patrick Kluivert were all involved, and so too was Carragher.

Weller, who has 5.32 million subscribers, had called out Carragher on Twitter before the game.

But he might just have regretted it as the former England defender left one on the creator.

It happened in the 56th minute when Carragher caught him with his studs after a high boot that left him writhing around in agony.

Carragher had absolutely no sympathy whatsoever and was caught on camera calling Weller a "stupid little p***k".

In response, Weller created a video slating Carragher off, saying: "But mate, why are you elbowing people in the face? And just kicking me?! What are you doing?

“When he did foul us, he would never say sorry or show an ounce of class, he would call us a ‘f****** stupid little p****’. I mean, a 40-year-old bloke! What are you doing? Just grow up!”

Carragher saw it a little bit differently, however, and the beef continued when he said he would love to "munch" Weller again if given the opportunity.

"He was just annoying me in the game, I'd never heard of him, supposedly a big star on YouTube, he was acting the 'big star' on the pitch, so I gave him a slap," Carragher said on a Q&A feature on Soccer AM's YouTube.

"I loved munching Joe Weller in that game and if I get a chance I'll be doing it again."
