Jack Grealish Produced His First World-Class Display For Man City, His Highlights Are Special

Jack Grealish starred for Manchester City in the 1-0 win over Bayern Munich and has excited fans going into his second season.

Jack Grealish looks ready to do the business in his second season for Manchester City after producing a scintillating display against Bayern Munich.

After being loudly booed early this week following a bust-up with Guillermo Ochoa of Club America, the £100 million man was in fine form at a rainy Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

City won 1-0 courtesy of Erling Haaland's goal just 12 minutes into his debut, with the tap-in set up by Grealish, who played with a swagger and directness throughout.

Kevin De Bruyne fizzed a pass into the former Aston Villa captain and after a perfect first touch to take it past his Dayot Upamecano, he laid it on a plate for City's No.9.

The presence of Haaland, an out and out striker, already seems to be having a positive effect on Grealish and his performances.

Although he won the Premier League in his first season with City, Grealish did take some adjusting to Pep Guardiola's way of playing and finished the campaign with just three goals and three assists.

He admitted himself that he was playing too safe and afraid of losing the ball. But last night, against elite opposition in Bayern, Grealish was expressive as ever and received the fan-voted Man of the Match award.

And plenty of supporters think he's going to "cook" in his second season at the Etihad Stadium.

Grealish and Haaland's link up was bright in just their first outing together and the Norway international is excited about what they can produce on the pitch.

He told Sky Sports: "He's good. He has to get better, I have to get better, but good link. I like the vibe around him, so it's going to be fun."
