The moment Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was 'betrayed' by Harry Maguire

Maguire has reportedly been critical of his teammates in recent days and the clip of him disappointing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has gone viral.

Manchester United fans are pointing out the moment that Harry Maguire 'betrayed' Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, with the club captain under increased pressure.

It's not been a good start to the season for Maguire, with the United centre back having been dropped from Erik ten Hag's starting line up.

He was involved in the first two games of the campaign, as United fell to rock bottom of the league, but has since been out of the team as Ten Hag's side have started a mini revival.

Maguire has been criticised a lot over time, including fans annoyed he's in the current England squad, but he's also been defended quite a bit recently, with even former Juventus star Giorgio Chiellini defending the former Leicester City man.

Reportedly, the 29-year-old isn't impressed with his teammates and somewhat blame them for his poor form, especially David de Gea.

But that hasn't gone down well with some United fans and they have pointed out the moment they believe the defender 'betrayed' his then manager Solskjaer.

The moment came after the Red Devils lost their Manchester derby to rivals City in November last year, with Solskjaer's side losing 2-0.

Maguire said that the player's lacked belief following the loss, and the manager looked absolutely shattered to learn that from the interviewer.

That video of Solskjaer's reaction when he heard what Harry Maguire had said. Can clearly see that look of being betrayed.

"He’s the one who’s causing problems in the dressing room. Not Ronaldo. Finally more United fans are realising it," one fan commented.

"I couldn’t stand Ole but even I felt sorry for him here. Maguire is a disgrace," a second added.

A third said, "Now we know who has been more responsible for those leaks. It's embarrassing from a captain."

And on the same lines another said, "May be we are finally getting to know the major leaks because the leaks kept happening even after some players being pointed at left the team. It's making sense now."

United had issues with information being leaked last season, and fingers were pointed at the players who have since left the dressing room.

However being reminded by what Maguire said about Solskjaer, along with his recent actions, and news about him, have people questioning if it was him.

Teammate Brandon Williams has also stuck up for his captain recently however, claiming that the team don't think about the criticism coming out of the camp.

"People don’t listen to the outside world. Harry [Maguire] will go into training a hundred per cent every day. Harry will give," the full back said, "Whether he’s starting the game, whether he’s not starting the game, one hundred per cent.

"We don't care about the outside world because like I said, the only thing that matters is the opinions on the inside. The opinions on the inside mean the most important."
