Erling Haaland gave the 'Player of the Match' award to Phil Foden after they both scored hat-tricks against Manchester United.

Manchester City ran riot against their cross-town rivals, smashing home six goals at the Etihad on Sunday.

Haaland and Foden bagged hat-tricks in the 6-3 win, with both players getting a match ball for their spectacular showings.

But only one of them will go home with the 'Player of the Match' award.

That's because the 22-year-old gave the individual prize to the England international, having been told to share it by Sky Sports' Geoff Shreeves.

Foden joked: "We'll cut it in half," to which the star striker replied: "Pleasure."

Haaland has now scored 14 goals in the Premier League this season.

He also has three hat-tricks to his name as he enjoys a blistering start to the campaign.

Speaking about his team's performance, the Norweigan said: "We always want to go forward. We always want to attack and this is what I love about the team.

"It's amazing, so... there's nothing more to say."

Haaland and Co return to action on Wednesday when they face Copenhagen in the Champions League.

And the Blues resume their league campaign next weekend at home to Southampton.
