Ashley Cole got his first ever goal for LA Galaxy in their MLS game with New York Red Bulls last night.

The former Arsenal and Chelsea defender has been in America since January after ending his time in Serie A with Roma.

And after 17 games with the Los Angeles outfit, he's now opened his account after scoring a great goal to help them snatch a 2-2 draw against Red Bulls. The goal came at the end of a very entertaining affair, which saw Gonzalo Veron and Sean Davis net for the visitors before Mike Magee pulled one back for Galaxy.

Cole found himself at the back post after a high ball into the box by Steven Gerrard and he finished with the quality of a seasoned striker to get his side a draw and open his MLS scoring account:
