Taxi for the keeper!

Sometimes you have to feel for goalkeepers.

Being the back-bone and the last line of defence, the margin for error is so slim.

If they misjudge something and get something horribly wrong, chances are they will be punished.

It takes a certain type of character and personality to be a goalkeeper as you can have the game of your life but still concede seven goals and in that instance, you feel sorry for the person in between the sticks.

However, we have absolutely no sympathy at all for this goalkeeper, who produced a classic gaffe recently.

In the game between Chivas Guadalajara and Puebla in Liga MX, top vs bottom, the game was poised at2-2 with seconds remaining.

The ball was in the possession of Puebla goalkeeper Cristian Campestrini with 93:30 on the clock and he had the opportunity to do what most goalkeepers do in this situation, particularly when you are struggling at the bottom - run down the clock with a bit of gamesmanship.

However, that didn't quite ruin through the mind of the Argentine goalkeeper and he ended up gifting a goal to the opposition in the last minute of the game:

The 36-year old was completely unaware of the attacker that snuck in behind him, with Carlos Fierro robbing the goalkeeper, rounding him and slotting home a dramatic late winner for the league leaders.

Even worse for the visitors, they were 2-0 in the first half before Chivas turned it around.

The worst possible way to lose a game of football.
