The look on Daniel Sturridge's face when Jurgen Klopp opted to keep him warming up on the sidelines instead of throwing him into the fray at White Hart Lane in search of a winner, on Saturday, was priceless. The Liverpool striker was caught on camera looking less than impressed, donning a face that was crying out to be made into a meme.
While Sturridge would have every right to be annoyed at Klopp's decision not to use him on Saturday, given the problems he could have caused a tiring Spurs defence in the final 20 minutes of the match, it's also possible that Sturridge's expression was nothing to do with his unused substitute role and a cameraman simply got lucky with snapping him at the right time.
The England international has at least been able to see the funny side of the incident and took to Instagram to ask his followers to caption the photo. One of said followers just happened to be Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher, who may have won the caption competition hands down with some light trolling of Merseyside rivals, Everton.

Sturridge has made no secret of not being entirely happy with having to operate in a wide role so far, this season, so there's a good chance we could be seeing more of this face in the coming weeks.
