Joachim Low Caught Doing His Usual Antics During England Loss

Joachim Low ended his time as Germany manager in the manner in which he conducted it, by doing some bizarre sniffing and licking of his fingers.

Low has been in charge of the German national team since 2006, winning the World Cup in 2014, but knew before the tournament that he'd be leaving the post no matter what happened at Euro 2020.

Whilst he's often been hailed for his work with the team, Low is also well known for his bad habits on the sideline, as he is often spotted sniffing his fingers after having them on his body, something he has blamed on 'adrenaline.'

On Tuesday evening the 61-year-old's tenure as national team coach came to end as Germany lost to England in the last 16 at Wembley.

Whilst England winning felt a bit unusual, Low's hygiene habits were at their usual level, with the former Stuttgart boss caught picking his nose and licking his fingers after.

Look, none of us is perfect and we've almost certainly done some disgusting things when in private but that's kind of the point.

Most people don't choose being on international television, and in front of 10s of 1000s of people live, to pick their nose.

The Germany boss did have a lot on his plate as Gareth Southgate's team controlled the ball for much of the match and didn't allow the Wembley visitors too many obvious chances.

Raheem Sterling and Harry Kane both scored to send the 1996 champions out of the competition and end Low's time as the head coach.

He'll be picking apart the match for some time now, thankfully away from the cameras this time though.
