Thomas Frank has been sacked by Spurs after a dire run of form left the club in 16th place.
Frank has struggled ever since taking the job with the Europa League winners and following a 2-1 defeat to Newcastle on Tuesday, the club have finally moved to give him the boot.
The result left Spurs 16th in the Premier League, just five points above the relegation zone.
David Ornstein of The Athletic reported on Wednesday morning that Spurs had decided to relieve Frank following a dismal run of eight league games without win.

The decision, which has not yet been announced by Spurs, comes after Frank said he was confident he would be in charge for the club's next Premier League game against Arsenal on February 22.
"Yeah, I am convinced I will be," Frank told Sky Sports.
"I understand the question. It is easy to point on me but it is never only the head coach, ownership, players or staff. It is everyone.
"Everyone knows what position we are in and what we need to improve on. That is what we are working hard on."
With the bookmakers, former manager Mauricio Pochettino is the clear favourite to be Spurs' next manager. Roberto De Zerbi is second in the race having left Marseille via mutual consent.
