Fans noticed Thierry Henry’s hilarious reaction to CBS host Kate Abdo jokingly 'announcing her engagement'.
Abdo, Henry and fellow pundits Jamie Carragher and Micah Richards have earned massive praise across the past two seasons for their light-hearted coverage of the Champions League for CBS.
The close bond between the broadcasters has led to several of the show’s more lively and authentic interactions going viral.
Moreover, fans have sometimes groundlessly joked on X that Henry and Abdo may be more than friends.

Indeed, people were quick to note Henry’s reaction when Abdo sarcastically announced she was engaged on Tuesday evening’s show.
Abdo said: “So everybody, we’ve got a big announcement coming up. Make sure you stay with us for that.
“You lot [Carragher, Richards and Henry] don’t know what it is yet. Well, all I can tell you is it’s a big announcement and it’s coming up.”
Carragher then joked: “Oh are you engaged?”
Abdo sarcastically responded: “Yes I’m getting engaged. He doesn’t know yet but yes.”
Fans on X, the social media platform formally known as Twitter, remarked Henry’s seemingly dejected response to Abdo’s ‘announcement’.
One tweeted, alongside three crying emojis: “Henry’s face when he heard Kate and engaged”
