Thierry Henry was in no doubt when he named two Premier League legends he wishes he could have played alongside.

Frenchman Henry is one of the best players to ever play in the Premier League, having won two titles during his time with Arsenal.

In total, Henry made 258 appearances in the Premier League, scoring 175 goals and assisting a further 74.

The former Barcelona and Juventus star is the eighth highest scorer in Premier League history and was only recently overtaken by Liverpool talisman Mohamed Salah.

During his time with the Gunners, Henry played alongside and against some of the best players Europe had to offer.

However, there were two players that Henry would've loved to have had the chance to play alongside.

Speaking during an episode of Sky Sports' Monday Night Football, Henry picked out former Chelsea duo Didier Drogba and Nicolas Anelka.

He explained: "Him [Drogba] and Anelka. I would've loved to have played with Anelka up front and him because I think both of us up front...problem. Big problem.

"I saw him the other day and I said 'imagine if we played together.' He [Drogba] didn't like to go out of the area and I was more of a mover, a bit everywhere. It would've been a bit of a problem. And let's not forget, I know he's not on this list but Anelka was a problem also. I would've loved to play with Nicolas at Arsenal."

Drogba made a total of 254 appearances in the Premier League for Chelsea, scoring on 104 occasions and has also registered 54 assists.

Meanwhile, Henry's fellow Frenchman Anelka scored 125 goals in Premier League appearances for the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City, Bolton Wanderers, Chelsea and West Bromwich Albion.

Previously, Henry named Liverpool as the club he wished he had the chance to play for.

Speaking on CBS Sports, Henry said: "Wow, let me think. It's a tough one but I'm gonna have to go and obviously, we all know, but Liverpool."

Slightly shocked by his answer, presenter Kate Scott replied: "Oh, okay. I didn't see that one coming."

Fellow pundit and former Liverpool man Jamie Carragher picked Barcelona, stating: "Barcelona, as a kid, that's the team I used to love."

Meanwhile, Micah Richards said: "The mighty Arsenal, to play with Titi (Henry)."
