Fans are all in agreement as they took aim at ONE player following his disasterclass during Spain vs. France.

Spain and France met on Thursday after Portugal beat Germany on Wednesday to book their spot in Sunday's Nations League final.

And Spain, who won last summer's Euro 2024, easily dispatched their opponents, winning 5-4 in Stuttgart.

Nico Williams opened the scoring before Arsenal's Mikel Merino doubled his side's lead. In the second-half, Lamine Yamal converted a second-half penalty before Pedri added a fourth, with the Barcelona teenager scoring his side's fifth.

Manchester City target Rayan Cherki reduced the deficit in sensational style, with Spain defender Dani Vivian then converting into his own net while Randal Kolo Muani bagged France's fourth.

France weren't at the races in the early stages of the game as Didier Deschamps' side succumbed to Spain, having lost to Luis de la Fuente's team at Euro 2024.

Naturally, several French players were subjected to criticism, including Clement Lenglet, who was slammed for his showing.

He had a bizarre defensive position when Yamal floated the ball into the box for Spain's opener and failed to keep out Pedri.

His drab performance at the back didn't impress fans on online.

One X user wrote: "No way Deschamps prefers Lenglet over Yoro."

A second said: "Lenglet in 2025 France high-key deserve to lose."

A third added: "Any manager who has Lenglet and Rabiot in their starting XI in big old 2025 deserves to lose."

A fourth commented: "It actually sickens me. LENGLET starting for France and Leny Yoro's just chilling at home."

Lenglet, formerly of Tottenham and Aston Villa, returned to the international fold after injuries to William Saliba, Dayot Upamecano and Wesley Fofana.

On his call-up, he said: "I was in a car with some friends, and I received a message of congratulations for the call-up. That’s how I learnt about it. But I had to check the Internet that it was not a joke."

The 29-year-old centre-back is still on the books at Barcelona, having spent last season on loan at Atletico Madrid.

He's contracted until June 2026 as Barca hope to offload the player, with Atleti looking to snap him up on a permanent deal ahead of participating at this month's Club World Cup.
