A punter won a ridiculous bet during the opening stages of Spain vs. France.

Spain came from behind to beat France 2-1 to book their spot in the final of Euro 2024.

The French took the lead when Randal Kolo Muani headed home Kylian Mbappe's cross in the ninth minute.

12 minutes later, Lamine Yamal levelled proceedings as he produced a moment of magic.

He curled home a stunning long-range strike before Dani Olmo scored his side's winner.

After Kolo Muani's header and Yamal's goal from outside the penalty area, a punter won a superb bet from a free bet.

The £2.50 free bet resulted in the punter bagging an impressive £687.50.

It took just 21 minutes for the bet to come in.

Spain will face either England or the Netherlands in Sunday's final.

Speaking after his team's victory over France, Luis de la Fuente said: "We are very happy, the happiness was already great to get here but now it is much greater. I feel a lot of pride for these players, they are exceptional, they know how to play and read the games in an extraordinary way.

"We have returned Spanish football to where it belongs. We have to value what these players are doing. We want to continue making history, we don’t want to relax, we have to stay focused to face the final in Berlin."

On Spain's opponents for the final, De La Fuente added: "It doesn’t matter who the opponent is, we’ve already seen the journey we’ve had in this European Championship. They are two great rivals and we are waiting for them with open arms. We want to win the final."
