QUIZ: Can you name every club to win the FA Cup since 1975?

The FA Cup began back in 1872 and there is long list of teams who have won the England's oldest cup competition.

The FA Cup is in its 155th year and after the international break with a mixture of World Cup play-offs and friendlies, we return with the quarter-final of the competition.

There will be four different fixtures in the sixth round, with Manchester City hosting Liverpool in the pick of the ties on Saturday lunchtime before Chelsea vs Port Vale, Southampton vs Arsenal and West Ham vs Leeds.

In total, there have been 44 different clubs to have lifted old 'Big Ears' since the inception of the FA Cup - starting with the very first final in 1872 when there were only 15 teams who participated.

Ahead of the action getting underway, we're challenging you to see if you can name every team to win the FA Cup in the last half a century - starting with 1985.

Some of those early, ancient winners like Wanderers and Royal Engineers no longer exist and you might just have to be a serious football historian to get them so we felt it was best to move the goalposts.

Even if you weren't around in the 1980's, going through the football pyramid and guessing different teams with a trial and error system will probably give you some success.

You might be surprised to learn there have only been nine new winners since 1998 - including last year's victors. We won't give the team away even though you should get it.

Let us know your score in the comments.
