A supercomputer has predicted the final 2023/24 Premier League table and its bad news for Manchester United and Chelsea.

This season's campaign is just eight games old as Tottenham sit at the top of the table ahead of the likes of Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool.

Man United and Chelsea are languishing in midtable, having both endured a difficult start to the term.

The Red Devils have already lost four league games this season as they returned to the win column following a dramatic win over Brentford last weekend.

As for the Blues, they've won back-to-back matches against Fulham and Burnley, having suffered home defeats to Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa.

The pair of clubs will be aiming for a top-four finish, but a supercomputer doesn't like their chances of securing Champions League qualification.

According to the prediction, Man United and Chelsea will finish in ninth and 10th place respectively.

Man City, who have lost two of their opening eight league games, are backed to win the league ahead of Liverpool and Arsenal.

Brighton have been predicted to finish fourth, which would mean Champions League qualification, ahead of Tottenham, West Ham United and Newcastle United.

Aston Villa and the aforementioned Man United and Chelsea round off the top ten.

As for the other end of the table, Luton Town, Bournemouth and Everton are predicted to be relegated from the top flight.
