Feyenoord midfielder Quinten Timber could be set for a move to England in January after attracting the attention of several top Premier League clubs.

Timber helped Feyenoord to the Eredivisie title last season and the Rotterdam club have made another strong start to the current campaign, winning five and drawing two of their opening seven league matches.

Timber has played a key role for his side - registering three assists and one goal, and has caught the eye of a number of Premier League sides with his performances.

According to 90min, scouts from Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur have all filed 'favourable reports' on the 22-year-old – the twin brother of Arsenal defender Jurrien Timber.

Arsenal themselves have also sent scouts to watch the versatile Netherlands youth international, who can operate in a number of different midfield roles.

Atletico Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Monaco and Napoli have also reportedly sent scouts to watch the midfielder.

Speaking to Voetbal International ahead of the start of the 2023/24 season, Timber admitted he would one day like to make the same sort of big-money move as his brother – who joined Arsenal in a £38m transfer from Ajax this summer.

"Yes, for sure. In the future of course," Quinten Timber said in August.

"It would be nice to be able to take such a step. But that of course starts today, at Feyenoord.

"This season I want to show beautiful things. And we will see what the future brings. But that would certainly be nice, yes."

Timber is not the only Feyenoord player being linked with a move to English football.

His club teammate Santiago Gimenez has also caught the eye of several top clubs including Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham after scoring 33 goals in 53 games for the Dutch club. Watch this space.
