Novak Djokovic told iShowSpeed he was an AC Milan player at the Ballon d'Or ceremony.

The biggest stars in sport are at the Theatre du Chatelet in Paris, France ahead of Monday evening's Ballon d'Or ceremony.

Argentina star Lionel Messi has been tipped to win the award for a record-extending eighth time after guiding Argentina to their first World Cup triumph since 1986 in December.

Indeed, in Qatar the attacker captained his side, netted seven goals in his seven appearances and was named player of the tournament.

Erling Haaland is another contender for the award, having scored 52 goals in all competitions as Manchester City won a historic treble.

And as we wait to find out who will take home France Football's coveted prize, the stars of sport have been mingling ahead of the ceremony.

One of the more unusual encounters was 24-time Grand Slam champion Djokovic meeting eccentric YouTube and Twitch sensation iShowSpeed.

Djokovic chose to have some fun with the YouTuber, by convincing him he was an AC Milan player.

The interaction, which was shown on iShowSpeed's YouTube live stream of the event, can be viewed in the clip below.

iShowSpeed approached Djokovic and said: "What's you name? You look so familiar."

The tennis icon responded, "I'm a new AC Milan star," inciting great enthusiasm in the YouTuber.

iShowSpeed responded: "Yeah, yeah, yeah!"

Djokovic continued: "I haven't played yet but I'm getting on in the next game. I'm going for a hat-trick."
