Fallon Sherrock's has won a stunning £501,000 prize by beating Luke Littler on Netflix - and her first comments add an extra layer to how significant that win is going to be.
Littler had beaten 13 out of 20 competitors before taking on Sherrock, who won a public vote ahead of Germany's Jarod Becker to become the 14th contender in Manchester.
'The Queen of the Palace' got closest to the bullseye before the leg in order to throw first, and took full advantage to be the first player at a double.
She then took out a 41 checkout inside three darts, hitting her second dart at double 20 to crown the biggest moment of her life and scoop the £501,000 jackpot for beating Luke Littler.

The total prize, which only one player could earn, was going to be a life-changing amount for any of the 24 players that were able to beat Littler, with all of them never having held a PDC tour card.

Sherrock was in a more privileged position going into the event than the other players in terms of prize money, having pocketed around £250,000 from darts events over her career on top of sponsorship deals. But the £501,000 figure still effectively trebles her earnings solely from playing darts; her highest individual prize money at an event was the £25,000 she won at the 2020 World Championship, while she also scooped £20,000 for reaching the quarter-finals of the Grand Slam of Darts.
One of the 32-year-old's first acts in her post-match interview with host Gary Lineker was to reference her son Rory, who she said was attending one of her darts matches for the first time.
"It's insane," she said. "I honestly can't put it into words how much this means. Especially having Rory... the first time he's ever been to anything, and he's seen me win. It was lovely. Sorry, I'm really lost for words right now.
"It was a great moment and I'll memorise it forever. I'm like, give me an opportunity and I'm going to take it every time. I'm really proud of myself now."

Sherrock has battled health problems in recent years, notably a kidney issue, but revealed at the end of 2025 that she had received 'positive news' and, in turn, had a much more positive outlook for 2026.
"My health is a lot better now, manageable, so I'm not taking any break," she told SPORTbible in March. "I'm quite happy about that because I enjoy playing darts, so you're going to see me a lot longer!
"I think now that the year is getting more into darts, and I'm playing a little bit more, it should become a bit better, because I'm hitting some good averages but then following up with some not so good averages."
Her average against Littler was very much on the 'good' side.
She will be playing at this year's PDC World Championship once again at Alexandra Palace, having qualified via the PDC Women's Series.
