One of Neymar's former teammates has revealed one of the Brazilian's unusual bathroom habits which he employs for an important reason.
The 33-year-old Brazilian came through the youth team ranks at hometown club Santos in his native land before moving to Barcelona in 2013.
At the Camp Nou, Neymar went on to form one third of a formidable attacking trio also including Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez as he won two La Liga titles and the Champions League with Barca.
After scoring 105 goals in 186 appearances for the La Liga club, the Brazilian stunned the football world in 2017 by leaving the Camp Nou to join French side Paris Saint-Germain.

Neymar moved to the Parc des Princes after PSG met the release clause in his Barcelona contract worth €222m, or £200m, which to this day remains the most expensive transfer in football history.
Despite being successful domestically with PSG after winning five Ligue 1 titles and scoring 118 goals in 173 appearances across all competitions, a Champions League crown eluded the Brazilian in the French capital.
Neymar departed PSG in 2023 for €90m as he headed to Al-Hilal, but he only scored once for the Saudi Arabian side before his contract there was terminated in January of this year.
He has now returned to hometown club Santos.

For Brazil, Neymar has become his nation's top scorer of all time with 79 international goals in 128 caps for his country.
Now, one of the forward's old teammates has revealed a peculiar toilet habit the Brazilian displayed during their time together at PSG.
Alexandre Letellier was a teammate of Neymar from 2020 onwards when he joined the club that September and earlier this year confirmed his retirement from professional football.

Speaking to French newspaper L'Equipe, via Footmercato, Letellier revealed that he once walked in on Neymar in the bathroom at PSG's training ground while sat on the toilet with the door wide open.
But it emerged the Brazilian did this due to having claustrophobia.
Lettelier said: "One day, I was dumbfounded. At the time, we were still at the Camp des Loges training ground with PSG.
"One day, I went to the bathroom, I went in and I saw Ney sitting on the toilet… but with the door open.

"When I saw him like that, I thought, 'He does that, with the door open?' I came right back out, and Abdou Diallo saw me wondering about it to myself.
"He said, 'Alex, what’s wrong?' I told him, 'Wait, I just went to the bathroom, and Ney’s taking a dump, with the door open.'
"And he said, 'That’s normal, it’s because he’s claustrophobic.' He never locks himself in, he always leaves the door open."
