Newcastle United are prepared to listen to offers for the injury-prone Yoane Wissa, according to a new report, although they could face making a significant loss as his valuation continues to plummet.
Wissa, who joined the Magpies from Brentford in September for £50 million plus £5 million in add-ons, has endured a tricky start to life at St James' Park.
Just days after penning a four-year deal, the 29-year-old injured his knee while on international duty with DR Congo, a setback that ruled him out of action for three months.
Wissa made up for lost time and scored two goals in his first two starts, but the forward has found the net just once since – a record that has contributed to Newcastle's lacklustre form in front of goal.

Amid their troubles in forward areas, a report from iNews has claimed that the club are ready to overhaul their attacking line-up this summer, which could spell the end of Wissa's short spell on Tyneside.
In fact, Newcastle would consider offers for the player, who is attracting interest from an unnamed Premier League club that would be willing to pay around the £15 million to £20 million mark for his services.

The above report mentions that his age has played a 'big part' when it comes to the drop in his valuation, with the deadline day deal being described as a 'panic' buy after Alexander Isak joined Liverpool.
What is going on with Yoane Wissa? Eddie Howe addresses situation in press conference
Speaking ahead of Newcastle's clash against Bournemouth on Saturday, Howe expressed sympathy for Wissa.
Howe said: “He's had a very difficult season and I think the most difficult part for Yoane has been that he got back fit and of course, there was a huge feeling inside of him he wanted to rush back and show everybody how good he is and then we haven't been able to train him in the way that we would normally train him.
“It's very small groups, game every two or three days, very stop-start for him. He was never able to get a rhythm. I have to say we've probably seen the best of him in his time at Newcastle this week. I've been pleased with how he's looked physically.
“I still feel there's loads more to come. I feel a pre-season would definitely help him. I think you could see a totally different player with a really sustained period where he's able to do what he needs to do.
“He's been trying, he's been really wanting to make the difference, but I think there's been physical things that have just kept him back from doing that."
Howe added: “No injury, but as I say, it's just the time that he's had on the pitch and the time he's had in training to get his body right up to full speed. So I think the best is yet to come.”
