MrBeast attempted to bribe the opposition goalkeeper with a briefcase full of money during Friday's Match for Hope match between Team Chunkz and Team AboFlah.

The Match for Hope is an annual event that unites football legends and popular content creators to raise funds for Education Above All (EAA), a foundation that provides education for marginalised people in the developing world.

This year, Thierry Henry, Franck Ribery, Eden Hazard, Diego Costa and Marcelo took to the pitch alongside captains Chunkz and Aboflah, as well as YouTube personalities KSI, Danny Aarons, AngryGinge and MrBeast.

In fact, MrBeast, real name Jimmy Donaldson, managed to secure the biggest viral moment of the night after he is said to have offered $10,000 to the opponent’s goalkeeper, just so he could score a penalty.

As you can see from the footage below, MrBeast handed a large briefcase to the opposition goalkeeper, who appeared to decline the offer.

However, the most subscribed YouTuber in the world took advantage of his opponent walking away from his goalline and proceeded to score (just) from 12 yards.

"MrBeast is attempting to buy the goalkeeper's trust and purchase his way to a goal," said the commentator. "Will the goalkeeper accept the bribe? He says no! How much money is in there? $10,000?"

Here's how fans on social media reacted to the scene.

One said: "Bro would’ve still scored even if the goalkeeper was there," and a second commented: "How do you even get to this level of wealth man."

A third added: "MrBeast casually turning a charity penalty into a $10k bribe escalation is peak chaos. Dude nearly missed an open net after all that. Absolute cinema. Love it or hate it, he makes these matches unforgettable."

Arsene Wenger was in charge of Team Chunkz as they sealed an entertaining 8-7 win over Team AboFlah but more importantly, the match raised around $12 million (£8.75m) for the EAA foundation.
